Bipolar Baby

As well as sporting this fine tartan dress (another gift from Grannie), today Babykins is experiencing  crazy mood swings between pensive...

and elated...

and back again...

and back again...

and back again...

and back again.

She's really quite mad.

Lucky Charms

Today we've busted out the pink four leaf clover top and matching trousers which were purchased by Grannie although we're not quite sure from where.  Somewhere in France is a safe bet though which is probably why she looks so chic.

The only trouble with these clothes is that they make her pull very strange faces.

Oh well, it seems like a small price to pay.

Giraffes and Birds (and More Spots)

Here is a grumpy baby who may be teething or may just bored of wearing spotty clothes.  Lets hope it's the former or she's in for a tedious few years as we have lots of spotty outfits just waiting
for her to grow into them.  This came from Sainsbury's sometime last winter and while I like the colours, she has to wear the bib with it because it looks a bit blank without it which is strange.

No posts for the last couple of days which is a shame becuase she had two good outfits. Hopefully they'll be time to give them another airing in the week and half before she technically grows out of then anyway.  I have no excuse for Wednesday, but Thursday is our very busy day when we have both Say it! Sing it! and Busy Babies.

Today we're just hanging out at home while the car is in the garage and I'm trying to encourage Babykins to stop being quite so grumpy.  I think it might be working!

Grumpy in Spots

Since she's wearing the Busy Little Hen Sleepsuit today which has already been documented, I've had another delve into archives for this outfit which she wore in June.  We bought this from George at Asda due to a ridiculously hot April.  While she liked having nice cool legs and arms, the hat was not a welcome addition and my insistance on her wearing it lead to the infamous grumpy photoshoot.

She learnt to love it eventually though as it meant she could tip her hat to people.  Good day Sir.

Spotty Sunsuit

It's not actually sunny here, but it is hot and so long legs and sleeves are not on the menu today.  Since she still has plenty of summer clothes which haven't been worn that much we're wearing them while we can.
This outfit was a gift from Sophie and my favourite thing about it is the ruffle around the neck because somehow it makes her look like a triceratops and everyone wants their baby to look like a prehistoric monster don't they?

Bath and West Dress

There's no new outfit on parade today becuase she wore the same Monsoon dungerees as last Sunday, although to ring the changes she did have a red t-shirt on instead of a yellow one.  She's CRAZY.  So as an (hopefully acceptable) alternative to a new picture, I have one from July.

We bought this dress for her from the Bath and West Show as a reminder of all the cows she saw that day.  She seems to find it rather boring, but then as I recall she wasn't that impressed by the show cows either.

What a Lovely Pear

This title makes no sense to anyone but me because none of the pictures we've taken today show the green applique pear on the side of this dress.  You're just going to have to trust me, imagine you can see it and then laugh at my joke.  You see?  I'm quite hilarious.  Now let's proceed to the pictures and never speak of my pear joke again:

This one came from Mothercare's winter sale last year, before she was even born.  I'm not insane and so I couldn't (can't) resist their 'everything is half price + buy one get one free' sales but if I'd known how useful this outfit would be, I'd have paid full price for it.  For a baby who spends most of her time rolling around on the floor you can't go wrong with a dress and leggings combination (she now has lots in the next size up) and pink and red are always cool together, I think.

Lollipop Roses

So it's defintely autumn then?  I had to wear socks in bed last night and when I picked Babykins up this morning she had cold ears and hands. Parenting fail.

Anyway, it's still quite cold today so she's wearing this sleepsuit from Jojo Maman Bebe.
 And sleeping.
And looking much sweeter  than the baby in the catalogue.

Turquoise Tights

Today's outfit is illustrated by two pictures as follows:
The first one shows the detailing on her dress very well but the second one is a cuter picture and I just couldn't choose. So you get both. Lucky you.

This dress came from France and I although it wasn't from the super barginous shop, it probably only cost €2.50. She's worn it on warmer days just with a short-sleeved vest underneath but is also toasty enough for a stupidly autumny August day like today.

I think the turquoise tights really make it.

Mademoiselle LeChat

On the schedule for today we have baby group followed by a trip to the vet for Clementine's annual injections so another cat themed outfit seemed appropriate. It's also (relatively) cold and wet today (unlike yesterday where she ended up without her on tights as the weather went all summery) so a warmer ensemble is in order.
These pretty dungerees came from the €5 for a kg shop and have a picture of a cat holding a flower on the front which you can just see, albeit in a slightly crumpled manner. On the back there is a picture of a mouse holding more flowers and French writing initimating that these two are best friends which seems slightly unnatural to me.

It's Boden, Baby!

Today, we have big plans to attend a baby yoga class at the Children's Centre and then to go to Exeter to buy large pasta shells from Aldi.  An action packed day like that requires a special outfit and so it was time to break out the only Baby Boden thing she owns which I bought from the Exeter NCT sale in spring.

Catching Up

Well clearly things have slipped a bit round here, mostly because I just wasn't happy enough with the quality of the pictures and which I blame on the dodgy lighting in our sitting room.  However, thanks to eBay now I have one of these which is solving all my problems (to do with photo lighting at least):
Anyway, back to to serious business of baby clothes.  Yesterday we had a lovely day out and took lots of pictures of the little duck in the grounds of Killerton House and she wore these beautiful embroidered dungerees which were a gift from one of her Dad's work colleagues and came from Monsoon.  I love them because the denim is the same colour as her eyes.

Today she is just hanging out in a sleepy suit as we've having a day at home, one (probably my favourite) of the Debenham's chicken set.  Please notice the double shaddow - my new reflector rules all.
