Bouteille en Mer

Apart from it making someone at baby group think she was a boy today because of the colour (some people have no imagination), this is one of the favourite outfits we brought back from France. It was purchased by my mum (Grannie) before we even arrived and I think came from the 2nd hand baby shop (known as 'my lady') in Pontivy. Very good choice, I think.

Sophisticated Sunsuit

It's very hot today (unlike when we were on holiday) which means it's sunsuit time!

This one came from Tesco online and was paid for with doubled up Clubcard vouchers (satisfying). It's a lovely light floral cotton so even the hottest babies can stay cool (without trying to steal their mummies' ice lollies).

If the weather stays this warm, we might be able to give her summer clothes an airing after all.

Snoopykins

The Fuzzbag is looking slightly cross here because I interrupted her Glee watching to take this picture. However, I felt it was important enough to show off her Snoopy t-shirt and denim skirt ensemble although she did not agree.  Words ensued.

The skirt is from eBay (integrated pants!) and the t-shirt is from 'Z' which is a French children's boutique apparently owned by Zinedine Zidane. Legs and feet are baby's own.

The most important thing to note is that the snoopy is glittery.  That is all.

Mon Petit Poussin

Is there a chicken theme emerging here? That's a touch disturbing.  To clarify, I am aware that she is, in fact, not a chicken but rather an actual human baby.

This is one of our super-bargainous French numbers which was bought with several others from a charity (but not necessarily 2nd hand) clothes shop for the princely sum of €5 a kilogram. In reality, it probably cost about 50p which surely can't be cause for complaint.

It's a little bit on the short side so it needs tights or something underneath (in public at least) but it also has some very sweet details like the gathers at the sides and the loose wing and legs on the poussin.

Busy Little Hen

Another lazy day at home with a poorly mummy means more chillaxing in a sleepsuit and this one is another one of my favourites. It's part of beautiful vintage-y floral set of 3 from Debenham's which we had in 0-3 months size and I was so sad that she was growing out of them, I bought in 3-6 month size too.

The best part is that courtesy of Auntie Anna and her excellent ability to predict our taste in baby clothes, we also have them in 6-9 months. This is the year of the busy little hen.

Dreaming of Purple Elephants

A lazy day at home calls for a funky sleep suit and this is one of the coolest ever. Bought from Mothercare last year on day of our 28 week scan when we were told she was 'probably' a girl, I've been waiting for the little duck to grow into this one for ages.

Mothercare sizes are so big that at nearly 5 months old a 3-6 month sleepsuit is still definitely on the spacious side.
